Our inaugural chardonnay release, handpicked on the 10th of March. Fermented in seasoned French oak barriques and allowed to undergo a partial malolactic fermentation as well. Matured in oak for 6 months prior to bottling. Heady aromas of stone fruit, sweet citrus and nougat. Excellent creamy texture and freshness in the mouth.
Pairs brilliantly with white mould cheeses and smoked salmon. The acid structure of this wine will make it worthwhile to carefully cellar over the next ten years if you have the patience.
