This Rosé is a bit different, it’s an unusual blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling – but it works. All five varieties where hand picked and whole bunched pressed together yielding beautiful pink juice. The ferment was started in a stainless steel tank then a week later transferred to old French oak barriques to complete fermentation.
Very aromatic with lychee, rose petal and red berry fruit notes. The palate is full flavoured but dry with a creamy mid-palate texture from the time spent in oak. A long finish with umami characters makes this Rosé perfect with summer salads, soft cheeses and charcuterie. Serve well chilled.
